My name is Stephanie Vaughn, and I am Miss Upstate 2009-2010. I won the Upstate title on June 13, 2009, and I am thrilled to be representing the Upstate of SC in the upcoming Miss SC USA pageant. During my year of service I will spend many hours working in the community to raise funds and awareness for organizations and causes that are near to my heart.

I am currently a graduate student at Converse College; where I am obtaining a Masters of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. As a college student I have been a part of U.S.C. Upstate Dean's List (undergrad), National Dean's List, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, and a Life Scholarship Recipient.

My hobbies include reading, working out, jewelry making, decorating, shopping, sporting events, fishing, playing tennis, traveling, spending time with children, friends and family.
